大事件！
先週末、なぜか急にDavidが「マフィンを作る」 と言い出し、見事なブルーベリーマフィンを作りました！David初のお菓子作りでしたが、おいしかった。 😛 普段料理などまったくしないので、私はかなりびっくりでした。

よ うやく退院しました！出産はホント大変だったけど、かわいい我が子とのご対面は感激でした
私の方は産後の体調もよく、順調に回復し ています。ノア君は最初の２日間ミルクを吐いて体重が減ってしまったので、まだ病院にいます。でも今はミルクを吐くこともなく体重も増えているので、今週 末には退院できそうなので心配しないでね！
みんなにノア君は Davidそっくり！と言 われています。 David は自分に似ている息子の誕生に喜んでます。髪の色は茶色で、目は青とグレイがまざったような色をしていて光の具合によって色が変わるのではっきりと何色と は言えないかな。
I’m finally home! Giving birth was very difficult, but I was very moved when I saw our baby
I am doing fine and am recovering well. Noa was throwing up a little milk and losing weight, so he had to stay in the hospital a little longer. For 2 days. He is very healthy now and is gaining weight so he will be home this weekend, so please don’t worry.
Everyone says that Noa looks like David! David is very happy that he has a son that looks like him. His hair is brown, and his eyes are blue and grey and change color in light so we are not sure what color they will be.

New Year’s Kanji
今年初めての毛筆＆硬筆のお稽古に行った際、２人で書きぞめをしました！
小学生以来の習字は難しく思い通りに書けなかったけど、久しぶりの習字は楽しかったです。
私は新年の抱負として「健康」という字を選び、Davidはと～っても難しい「心」という漢字を選びました！
(David: I couldn’t translate that, but I will explain! It is tradition to write out a word or a phrase (in Kanji, Japanese/Chinese Characters) at New Years to bring good luck, happiness etc. Kiko and I both go to calligraphy class on Tuesday so we wrote out these for our New Year’s Kanji. Kiko wrote “health”. I wrote “heart.” Kiko’s is very good. Mine is fabulous. (Unless you are Japanese and recognize that is most certainly not fabulous. I guess it is more fabulous for ME, taking in to consideration my skill with handwriting in any language.) I wrote heart because it is the only one I could remember.)
ミニキウィ？
調子が悪くて苦しむ私を気遣い、Davidがスーパーで買い物をしてくれました。スナック類を間食するのではなく、乳製品や果物を食べた方がいいよ！と言って色々買ってきてくれました。「今日はミニキウィを買ったから、いっぱい食べてね！」と無邪気に言うDavidに「ミニキウィ？？？」と不審な目を向けつつ買い物袋を開けてみると、そこには見事なスダチが！どう見てもキウィには見えないし、しっかりカタカナでスダチと商品名が書かれているのにも関わらず・・・いまだにミニキウィに見えると主張する頑固者Davidです。
