Have a camera that needs to be tested.
I hate to say it, but Kiko might be better at taking pictures than I am…. take a look.
Now that that is out of the way…
and now the girl
and then I make her clean
all things d@vidb
So we have had a number of traumas recently (this is of course after we learned Hana was broken.)
Let’s share.
Fighting
Typical Daddy/Noa fight
The Moose Incident
A few years ago Toronto ran a moose campaign. Tracy and I watched some really silly lady run face first/full steam into one and get completely floored.
Unfortunately Noa decide to do his best to emulate this.
Noa is running through the mall with Hana’s toy dog trailing behind via leash.
Full speed, looking back, SMACK!
Huge noise, Noa goes flying, EVERYONE in the mall looks over.
Fortunately he wasn’t hurt, but super embarrassed and super shocked.
Ok so I lied. He doesn’t run, he lumbers.
Balcony
I used to wonder how children fell off balconies.
Was using the computer and heard Hana’s tricycle.
All good until I remember that we keep Hana and Noa’s bicycles on the balcony of our 3rd floor apartment.
I open my curtain to see Hana happily sitting in her tricycle wringing the bell.
Apparently Noa let her out on the balcony, closed the window and shut the curtains.
I asked him how Hana got outside and he told me Mommy must have done it.
I am innocent because I am cute.
So Canada was amazing. Got to see lots of friends, spend the time downtown with Tracy, see family, really great!
Noa had a fantastic time and declared he wanted to build a home behind Tracy’s house.
Everything was really good.. right until we are about to go home.
How we Broke Hana
Hana rolled off the bed the night before we left for Canada… as she did every night. However this time she cried quite a bit. Checked her head for blood, put her back to sleep. In the morning she cried really hard whenever we picked her up. She was also touching her ear, so we figured that she had an earache or was sensing that we were about to leave.
This continued all the way through the flight. We tried to comfort her by moving her around and patting her back.
Then we get back to Japan. 38 hrs late I take off her clothes to change her and see a huge bruise on her left shoulder.
An x-ray later we found out she has a broken collarbone…. boo…. really sad.
That is my excuse for not updating earlier!
Look at her cool “im broken” gear.
ps. Noa wants his toes painted.
Back from a trip to Dalian China. Noa guilt-tripped me all the way.
I told him I would buy him Chinese candy, and when I bought him something from the 7-11 near my house, he called me on it.
Apparently he felt bad, because he made it a point to tell me they were really delicious after trying to feed them to Hana.
We are getting some pictures ready from our trip up North.
In the meantime, take a look at these.
If my children are bad I will send them to Mexico.
Yes, for those of you who are very observant, Hana is feeding the babys nose.
