HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
From David and Kiko and Noa
Chris & Andrew
Kiko and I (and possibly Noa) want to send a big congratulations to Chris & Andrew who will be getting married in Toronto today. I can’t tell you how much we wish we could have been there. (That goes for you too, M&L, T&D, S&D :()
Chris has been one of my closest friends since as long as I can remember. Although we only met Andrew a few times, he is a fantasticly nice guy and it is quite obvious how happy they make each other. Both Kiko and I look forward to spending more time with you both when we are back in Toronto.
Congratulations Chris & Andrew. We miss you tons and will be thinking about you today. We know how stressful a wedding can be, so take your time, enjoy it, and know that you have friends all around the world that love you.
Noa’s first haircut! Expanded!
That first post was live on the scene (as only I can bring it to you… nice.) so I thought I would give you a little more background.
Kiko’s very good friend, Rumi-chan, from Tanegashima came all the way to Tokyo to cut Noa’s hair! Now since the site has been down for the past month, perhaps you need a refresher course in Noa’s hair.
See how cute he is? Just like his pappy.
Now behold Noa’s haircut!
so many pictures… so many videos to upload… We will slowly start to catch up over the next few days! My computer was broken during the move, so I am re-installing Windows as we speak!
that is all.
Noa’s first haircut!
Thank you Rumi-chan!! Noa’s ghey quotient is down by 10points.
The Second Coming of Noa
It took a little longer than I thought (that and my main computer is broken!! arg!! :x) but it looks like we are slowly coming back on line here. I hope to be online by November 9th at the latest (perhaps you are reading this then??) We don’t have a computer to get our photos and videos on to, so give me a few more days on that one. Over the next few days I will be updating the site with new Noa pictures….
So what have you missed?
- A new tooth (I call it misty)
- 8 steps sometimes more!
- A move to Tokyo!
- A new apartment!
- His use of the word “Dada” which he calls anyone he likes
- Lots of food excitement
- Crazy little games which only he understands
Seriously… Noa is getting cuter by the minute. By why wouldn’t he? He comes from good stock.
davidandkiko.com is celebrating it’s 2 year anniversary this year (expect some surprises!9. I am not about to stop it now. Sorry for the downtime, but as this is one of the few ways we can keep in touch with everyone, I hope you continue to visit and watch Noa grow with us.
Love,
David & Kiko
Brian and Dada time
Brian gets to meet Noa as we go shopping for 5hps without Mom. Dada is Noas current word of choice, but this was his longest trip without Kiko.
Celebrating the ghey since 2006
In honour of one of my best friends getting married, I present Noa in his very fabulous Thomas and James jacket. (we may or may not own that jacket, and this picture may or may not have been taken in the store while I dressed him up, took a picture, and ran away from the angry Japanese store clerks.)
I wish I had my camera!
I have been extremely fourtunate to be part of the University of Toronto’s delegation to Japan this year. Apart from having a fabulous opportunity to meet some very nice people in the U of T’s administration, I have also been fortunate enough to meet with some of Japan’s top academics at some of the best universities in Japan.
Other memorable events have included an alumni event at the Canadian Embassy which saw alumns like Agnes Chan and Tak there. Nice.
It has also given me the opportunity to live like some of my consultant friends do, and experience the nomad lifestyle in some wonderful hotels throughout Japan (Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo to be exact!)
What’s next? How about the website being back up, and pictures of Noa! (He can now take about 8 steps… yeah!)
Look! It’s Agnes Chan (neat…) but wait… she’s upside down! (weird)
On the train in Tokyo
Apparently Noa has developed the Japanese ability to sleep on trains!
ps. We found a house! Its swell!
Baby Awesome is still Awesome
Sorry, this picture is so good it deserves a repeat.
(This may or may not have something to do with the fact that I still don’t have my computer and therefore cannot get to the pictures on my camera. maybe.)
