Trauma

So we have had a number of traumas recently (this is of course after we learned Hana was broken.)

Let’s share.

Fighting

Typical Daddy/Noa fight

  • Daddy, I don’t want to play with you all day! I don’t want to sleep with you.
  • I’M ANGRY!!!!
  • Go to work all Day!
  • Me: OK Noa. See ya.
  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  • Go in your room!!! Stay all day and don’t have fun!!

Not sure what this is about.

The Moose Incident

A few years ago Toronto ran a moose campaign. Tracy and I watched some really silly lady run face first/full steam into one and get completely floored.

Unfortunately Noa decide to do his best to emulate this.

Noa is running through the mall with Hana’s toy dog trailing behind via leash.

Full speed, looking back, SMACK!

Huge noise, Noa goes flying, EVERYONE in the mall looks over.

Fortunately he wasn’t hurt, but super embarrassed and super shocked.

Ok so I lied. He doesn’t run, he lumbers.

Balcony

I used to wonder how children fell off balconies.

Was using the computer and heard Hana’s tricycle.

All good until I remember that we keep Hana and Noa’s bicycles on the balcony of our 3rd floor apartment.

I open my curtain to see Hana happily sitting in her tricycle wringing the bell.

Apparently Noa let her out on the balcony, closed the window and shut the curtains.

I asked him how Hana got outside and he told me Mommy must have done it.

I am innocent because I am cute.

Crazy Mexicans…

Back from a trip to Dalian China. Noa guilt-tripped me all the way.

I told him I would buy him Chinese candy, and when I bought him something from the 7-11 near my house, he called me on it.

Apparently he felt bad, because he made it a point to tell me they were really delicious after trying to feed them to Hana.

We are getting some pictures ready from our trip up North.

In the meantime, take a look at these.

If my children are bad I will send them to Mexico.

Yes, for those of you who are very observant, Hana is feeding the babys nose.

Noa likes to sleep with things

Apparently every day on the way home from Kindergarten he picks up a leaf and calls it “Happa-chan”.

(leaf-term of endearment.)

He takes it home, washes his hands and the leaf, eats dinner with the leaf, and then sleeps with the lead.

He also sleeps with his care bare and alien.

he is special.

youre welcome.

Pictures for Tracy… and Pictures! (and Hana falls)

Just got home from a trip up north for some snow-action and onsen-excitement.

A great break for everyone, and Noa got to hang out with his French friend Assayez? I don’t know how to spell it.

Noa spent the majority of the time spelling things and making up words. He is in to that.

Hana also has a magic propensity to fall in the most spectacular manner. It doesn’t matter how she should go down, her body will twist and contort to ensure maximum damage.

This weekend she fell off the bed nose first and slipped by the pool and banged her forehead.

Nice. That’ll teach ‘er.

and now for some excitement

Noa’s New Uniform

Noa’s Favourite Book: Three Billy Goats Gruff

Hana’s Favourite Book: Anything not English

Noa’s Latest Achievement: Can read big letters, small letters and starting to sound things out

Noa’s Latest Story:

Kiko made us pyjamas. Not decided he didn’t like them and tried to make us throw them away. In the bath yesterday he asks me why I didn’t throw them away yet. I told him that because his Mommy made them, he should tell her he likes them.

He got angry and told me that I should “throw them in the garbage. Have the garbage truck come and take it away and then squeeze them.”

He really doesn’t like his new pyjamas.

But he looks cute in his new kindergarten uniform
