Concert Footage!?
Ok…. so maybe we weren’t allowed to take photos of Noa at the concert because cameras are not allowed at Japanese concerts.
And maybe we had to settle for a crappy cellphone picture taken outside with Noa holding a $7 balloon.
And perhaps you will have to settle for a picture of Noa riding some small 3 wheel thing he stole from another child.
but at least we have a picture of Noa in a bucket.
Noa: Pre-Concert
Before Noa’s big concert, my good friend from High School here in Japan came to visit. (Toru aka tommy).
Noa had a great time and made us buy him a $7 baloon before the concert began.

Tomorrow: The Greatest Day in Noa’s Life… ever. Seriously.
I’m actually not joking.
Tomorrow Kiko and Noa will be attending “Okasan to issho” (Together with Mom), the live concert version. For those of you not up to date with Japanese children’s tv, this program is like Sesame Street in Japan. It has Noa’s favourite music, favourite people (other than me), favourite crazy animals.
Occasionaly they have national concert tours which also appear on TV. Maybe Noa will be on Japanese TV?? (selling whisky or something.) All I know is that Noa (actually mostly Kiko) is REALLY excited about going and is going to have a great time. How much does he love that show?

Like my dashes? Things here are pretty good! Work is going great. School is rewarding. Noa is cool. Kiko is going to a concert. Excitement.
It seems that while we have less comments, we are still getting a good amount of visitors… so thank you! This is our way of letting you know what we are up to, and it is always nice to hear from everyone. We will get more pictures of Kiko and I up soon, and we will have pictures from Noa’s concert tomorrow.

Noa’s Diary #7: お誕生日おめでとう！ Happy Birthday Shu!
これ、ぼくのいとこの秀一朗おにいちゃん。今日で２歳になるんだ。おにいちゃんはすごいんだぞぉ。イナバウワーだってできるんだ。ほら、この写真。
This is my cousin Shuichiro. Today he is 2 years old.
He’s amazing. He can even do ice-skating tricks. look!
みんな秀おにいちゃんのイナバウワーを見て笑うけど、ぼくは本当にすごいと思ったんだ。
がんばれ、ニイチャン！お誕生日おめでとう！
Everyone laughs at him when he does that, but I think hes great.

Sorry! Missed a few photos from when we were in Tanegashima. Here they are…
(someone complained that Noa wasn’t showing enough love to cats, and instead was focused only on dogs (plush dogs mikey… plush).

Lindsay and Takeshi’s Wedding… in Kagawa!
We are back from an exhausting (but fun!) trip to Kagawa where we got to see a number of good friends and colleagues. We miss Kagawa and everyone there very much! Thank you so much for making the time to hang out with us everyone!! (except those of you who dragged me into the freezing cold ocean in the middle of winter. you know who you are. actually… that was a lot of fun but sucky in the I thought I was going to die kind of way.)
A big part of our trip to Kagawa was to go see our friends Lindsay and Takeshi get married! Congratulations!!!
It was there that Noa was reunited with Jim, and performed live on stage with Jim’s band LAME (which despite all that I was expecting… which was nothing… turned out to be pretty good!) [I will get a hair cut, calm down.]
